To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

Compassionately intolerant

I just rewatched SOA-Balm, which expires on Hulu tomorrow. This is the 4th or 5th time I've watched that episode and I just have to say, it is some beautifully made television. The performances are terrific, but the direction is just lyrical. The use of light, silence and music convey so much more than dialogue ever could.

Of course, I'll be glad to see the Son's return, but I would be okay if the show just stopped where it is. So complete, just as it is.

I watched the last season of the Shield out of fascination, and really enjoyed it, but was not touched by it nearly as deeply as the SOA.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Leverage: HITG from The Middleman.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Leverage: HITG from The Middleman.

Huh?

Anyway - looks like Nate's back on the booze without much question.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I swear, Kane's hair looks even MORE like Mary Tyler Moore this episode. I liked it beaded, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh?

Alexander Lundy is the Middleman. Well, at least he's the guy that hunted Echo, who I understood was the Middleman.

I love Kane's hair. Nobody touch it. I love all the Leverage boys. And, minus Tara (who I no longer hate), I love all the girls.

But I want more Parker/Hardison.

Oh, and I love Mark Shephard. He just does everything, and so well.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I want to know who's doing his blowouts because they look fabulous. And Maggie's dress is hideous.

Eliot nailed it. "The drinking isn't the problem, it's a symptom."

Maggie's dress is hideous.

Oh, good, it's not just me.

Tara seems to enjoy verbally torturing people, just for fun. This is reprehensible, and I like it. I also enjoy that particular hobby, I'm just too nice - or cowardly - to do it.

I didn't know it. The previews have Nate & Maggie snogging, so I figured it made perfect sense to have Lundy bad.

Speaking of Parker/Hardison, I guess I was thrown a bone or two--he did ask her on a vacation date, and they got to play a couple again. Still, I want more. She's had such good scenes with Eliot in the past couple episodes. I want to see them zing again.
