YES!!!
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I just rewatched the WC pilot last night (have gotten my sister hooked on it, as well as on Leverage). Referring to the photo of Kate, Neal said it was taken "four days ago in San Diego" and I thought, four days ago, wasn't Peter with Neal?
I want no retconning. I want this to make sense.
"Boop!"
hee!
ZK, I don't know the details well enough to say.
I think they extricated themselves from the final scene of the previous episode adequately. I don't feel cheated, because Kate was unemotional and unrepentant, and also because she thought Neal had the music box that he didn't. Basically I don't like her, so stumbling blocks in their relationship, yay. Although I'm sure it'll be twoo wuv in the end.
I can't believe we were deprived of the kiss of life!
I love that Peter told Elizabeth about Kate.
Neal is such a gentleman, he sucked at playing a womanizing mysogonist. Loved all the tense double speak during the operation. Wasn't so pleased with the delivery of Peter's scene with Kate. I mean, I like the facts, but, I hate to say it, but as much as I love Tim DeKay and the statement of "He's my friend!", his delivery seemed off. Maybe it was acting across what's-her-face that sucked the talent out of the room.
Oh, also, Neal was fucking hot one-handedly slamming that skeet gun closed.
I can't believe we were deprived of the kiss of life!
That was a huge tease.
And Neal was insane-o-wrong hot with that gun. Damn.
Cute pic of Matt and Tim on set. Unspoilery.
Is the movie Boiler Room named after the scam? Why is the scam named that, if so? If not, why is the movie named that?
My google-fu tells me that the scam is called that because of the "highly pressurized" sales tactics. Like the things in a boiler room that are, erm, highly pressurized?
And Neal was insane-o-wrong hot with that gun. Damn.
Mmrmph
And Neal was insane-o-wrong hot with that gun. Damn.
Yes. Mmmph
I would be tempted to say that White Collar just got gayer than Angel, but that doesn't account for the OMG level of OT3ness in this ep. I think it just blew the Leverage OT3 action out of the water.
I approve.
