Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I didn't watch Voyager, so I don't have any preconceptions of her. I just don't like her giggle. It annoys me; she uses it too often, it's too girlish for her age and character, and I don't like it. That's all, pretty much.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

There I was hoping that Elliot would be the model.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have accepted the Jeri hatred. I'm okay with it. I of course, hope that she dies. I know that she won't, but I can always hope.

And I swear that the bearded guy next to Parker was the Neutraface guy.

Aw, here I was hoping/expecting Sophie to be shutting off the webcam because she was in the next room and about to walk in.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't get her. I don't get the idea that she's hot, I don't get the charisma.

But I did have a twinge when she headbutted the guy. When she said Eliot liked her a little, I liked her a little. But it's not a lot.

I did catch the 5-0 reference, but the rest of the scam was a mystery to me.

I got major OT3 vibes off of Eliot and Parker when he was telling her about his exploits. If only Hardison could have been part of that exchange.

Next week, shirtless Hardison?

And upcoming Kari Matchett? Yay! Dying son flashbacks? Nay!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I was too, Juliebird, for a moment, but alas, I knew she wouldn't.

Eliot in guyliner: funny. Eliot mad at being teased for guyliner: even funnier.

I actually didn't mind Jeri/Tara this time. I love her "outsider perspective" comments. Her last comment, though, which I believe was "Nobody's as good as you think you are," sounds disturbingly portentious.

Speaking of disturbing: Criminal Minds. That hit several of my creep-out buttons.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

But I did have a twinge when she headbutted the guy. When she said Eliot liked her a little, I liked her a little. But it's not a lot.

I liked her a little, but I also felt like the show was trying pretty hard to make me like her, so I was somewhat put off. I have no feelings on Jeri Ryan, however, and I enjoyed her constant bemusement at Nate's methods. "Does he always do that? Just say something and walk away?" Tara is not Sophie, but she's not supposed to be, and as of now, I think she's okay.

I did catch the 5-0 reference, but the rest of the scam was a mystery to me.

Same here. I thought she was telling Nate to go to the cops.

Dying son flashbacks? Nay!

Ooh, more YEEEEEEAAAAARRRRGGHHHHH! I can't wait!

I loved Parker trying to figure out the reindeer games.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

PSA: Those who think Christian Kane is hot should take a look at his revamped website.

Also, Beth Riesgraf took most of the pictures thereon.

dammit, I can't get the link to work. no, it works now.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The dueling accents were as painful as usual.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

when Tara headbutted the Triad goon, I groaned, "Oh, she's kick-ass as well as a highly skilled grifter? Can she hack, too?"
