Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

I thought it was a lovely episode, too. As loathsome as I find Betty, January Jones was born to share her cold joyless smile with the world. It's practically the Platonic ideal.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heheh - title of last night's ep was "Guy Walks Into An Advertising Agency"

Punishingly Intricate

Man that middle kid in the Draper family is going to be one messed up guy, right?

Or he'll be the only normal one.

Oh, I can't believe we haven't talked about this - do we think Joan's been written out of the show? I can't imagine her coming back with her tail between her legs asking for her job back, but I would really hate to lose her as a character.

I'm sure she hasn't been. I have a theory based on the previews for next week's ep.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Speaking of the middle kid, they changed actors, didn't they? I liked the previous kid.

I can't imagine Joan is out. I think that dickly husband of hers will bring on the abuse, she'll leave him, and come back to Sterling Cooper. And become roomies with Peggy. Predictable or not, I really want that odd couple!

No way, she's not going anywhere (unless Christina Hendricks wants to leave for some reason). I wonder how they'll handle it, though. Will she ask, or will they ask her to come back. Maybe she'll start working for Duck.

I was kind of confused as to why they thought that he would get chief resident if he was such a bad surgeon. You'd think that he'd know by now.

I think Joan had no idea until the dinner party (and even then was pretty deliberately kept in the dark), and he was in denial.

I figure someone will see her working somewhere else, and they'll pull her back into the fold that way.

That makes sense. His whole attitude is "I can fix it later"
