Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

How about this Calli?

Holy Mother of Yum!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Shit eating grin" is the short form of "he had a grin like a fox eating shit out of a wire brush."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That doesn't make it much clearer to me.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Yeah, that still doesn't evoke the puckish delighted smile that the expression usually evokes for me.

I'm not sure I ever expected to see him and Aldis Hodge sharing a screen.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

That was MADE OF AWESOME.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A reference randomly rounded up on the internet:

I think the phrase “shit eating grin” is a shorthand version of “Grinning like a fox eating shit out of a wire brush”. I am sure you can picture a fox trying to bite shit out of a wire brush with his lips pulled back so they don’t get poked.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not sure I ever expected to see him and Aldis Hodge sharing a screen.

That is awesome!

Going back to the earlier discussion, this season is missing something for me as well. It's just not as much fun as it was last year.

I found it a slow start, but I'm back on board wholeheartedly as of episode 4. I'm surprised that the Parker/Hardison shipper in me isn't more disappointed with the "take it slowly" thing, but recently I've really enjoyed the OT3's character moments, so it's not that bad.

I am sure you can picture a fox trying to bite shit out of a wire brush with his lips pulled back so they don’t get poked.

I can't picture a fox wanting to eat shit, so it falls apart for me there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, dogs sure love cat shit, foxes might have similar taste.

I don't know if there is any part of Saving Grace that I get anymore. If it's ending, I guess I'll see it out, but I'm not expecting a satisfying experience.
