I enjoyed those songs, but I don't think I understood what the hell happened with the investment scam.

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Ah, Leverage, the musical. Joss would be proud.
Yeah, that's what I'd heard. Frakes directing and it was going to somehow be a musical. The kid had some damn good pipes.
I don't think I understood what the hell happened with the investment scam.
They needed the guy out of his apartment so they could break into it and steal the 20 mil they thought he had hidden there for convenience's sake, but it turned out he had a plan to skip the country and it was already in offshore accounts where Hardison could get to it.
I got that part, but I don't know what Skylar's dad's role in it was. And the assassin was really there to hit the FBI agents?

He was an accomplice in the original crime, and was getting the tapes of his involvement back in exchange for setting up the hit on the FBI agents so the guy could escape.
I'm so in love with Eliot teaching girls to kick ass.
This was definitely my favourite episode of the season. Loved the return of the FBI agents, and the crush on Parker and Hardison dealing with it.
Yes, I love that they've brought those FBI agents back twice. So goofy.
Yeah, that was a good episode. Loved the little snarky bits.
Also, "This is why we can't have nice things!" Hee.
I think Parker's eccentricity sometimes causes her character to be written inconsistently. But I heart Parker. I loved loved her "cut the blue wire" scene.
I don't want to see them too terribly much, because there's no way that doesn't end in bad, but I was deeply amused by the FBI agents' return. And I love Hardison having to deal with anyone else interacting with Parker. Hee.

Yes, and the other agent's crush on her is adorable, even more so because she's oblivious. Or maybe she understands on an intellectual level, but not what it means, i.e. she doesn't get that he bought her a smoothie because he likes her.
