Pout. My Tivo didn't pick up last night's Leverage. I'm all bereft.

boo! I went to tivo to find out when it would be on again, but it seems to only be at 9 and 11 on Wednesdays. What's up TNT?

Seriously. I want my Leverage. It isn't up on the TNT site either.

That was a very fun episode of Leverage, but Sophie's "Boston accent" caused me physical pain. Please to not give Gina Bellman any more reason to attempt a Southie accent?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Maybe they'll each have their own season of bad accents--Nate's was last season, and Sophie's is this season.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

No, Sophie's was last season too. If she never does any flavor of southern again, my eardrums can die happy.

Honestly, I think I read an interview somewhere (but I can't remember where, so I can't cite it) that specifically said Sophie wouldn't be doing as many accents this season. They had some sort of official reason - they were focusing on something different about her character, or some such - but I just remember being happy about fewer accents.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently the closed captioning said she was doing a New York accent.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's what it sounded like she was attempting to me. But man, was that bad. Not just bad - their fake accents are so bad and so theatrical that it makes you question how the mark doesn't immediately twig to it. So it goes beyond distracting to actually impacting the plausibility of the storyline. They need to just stop.
