Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Vortex, I'm watching it right now. I haven't got to the reveal yet, but it seemed obvious to me just from his first scene.

JM's accent didn't seem to be Californian, but it wasn't very Oklahoman, either.

I think that I liked his accent or felt comfortable because he just made it less extreme and so it sounded rather midwestern.

We also don't want to create a historical anachronism by putting a 1962 typewriter or transistor radio in, so we try to watch that, unless, creatively we just decide it’s a good way to go. Otherwise, we keep ourselves locked to April of 1960.

One thing that has been bugging me: In slide 6, Peggy clearly has an IBM Selectric II typewriter (introduced in 1972) on her desk, not a Selectric I (introduced in 1961).

Huh. Now, I've got to find a picture of a Selectric 1 for comparison.

Okay, here is a Selectric from 1961.

Spike TV pretty much lost me last year when its reaction to Blade getting decent ratings in the female demographic was essentially "Quick, cancel it before the rest of our shows get cooties!"

Sad that this appears to be Sciffy's reaction to Dresden Files too.
