Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Thrive to spite them

The Closer -- it looks like menopause is what's going on with Brenda.

Is she old enough?

She just turned 40 so it could be early.

And my cable keeps cutting out. I'm going to have to hope the later showing of this gets recorded.

she just flipped out at the squad, so I'm starting to think that the early menopause theory might be correct.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Um, I'm just starting in on last week's ep and it seems pretty obvious to me that's where they're going. Kind of sorry to see it seems like it's not something more interesting.

well, maybe they'll fool us. we've had the wacky twist before.

Art Crawl!!!

Maybe the wacky twist is why the doctor wants her to come in for more tests. I mean, if it were menapause - would she need more tests? What else might she be ruling out?

Saving Grace: I think I'm getting used to JM's normal accent because it didn't seem odd to me. Also, the part was pretty much a nothing and yet he still turns out to be the killer. I didn't think he was a big enough star for that, you know? But they really had nothing.

And it's funny to see him and Bailey Chase on the same show again.

From days and days ago....

"Spike TV is for MEN! MEN! Manly Men, I tell you! Look! Boobs! And fights! Manly Men watch Spike!"

I actually have a penis, and this bugs the crap out of me. I was watching Spike a lot for CSI reruns, but the more the network blares this crap at me, the easier I find it to think "you know, I have already seen this episode a bunch of times, I think tonight we'll watch something on the Food Network, or whatever show S wants to watch that I'm not interested in."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm watching the first two episodes of Saving Grace. It's just ok so far, but I had no idea JM was in an episode.

sumi, his accent didn't sound as strange to me in Saving Grace as it did in Smallville.
