Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I saw it on it's first run! Loved it and then even more when they brought in Fred!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I liked Fred better than Robert Wagner! I had such a crush on him.

He was so elegant! I like that in a man, and he could dance!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's really interesting to watch it with a current perspective. I'm loving it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

i've been watching this great show called "To Catch a Thief". it stars Robert Wagner as this thief who gets paroled to a mysterious government agency called the SIA to steal for the government. it's set in the late 60s/early 70s, and he wears nehru jackets to formal events and whatnot.

Wasn't it "It Takes a Thief"? "To Catch a Thief" being the classic Hitchcock/Grant/Grace Kelley movie.

I remember watching that and The Saint around the same time.

Also, where is that airing? Or is it on DVD?

yes frank, you're right about the title. I'm watching it right now. He's wearing his formal Nehru jacket now, with the satin collar.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I have to say, the characterization of the hedge fund douchebag was spot-on. I mean, his attitude and the technical things he said sometimes veered towards parody, but I have met that person IRL many times. It was a much more fleshed-out and subtle characterization than I would expect to see in a TV show.

I feel sorry for that actor. He always plays a douchebag. He's very good at it, but oy, the typecasting.
