S1 DVDs came out in July '08 -- and proved to be very well timed to hook people who were catching up before S2. I wouldn't have expected anything very different.
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
very well timed to hook people who were catching up before S2
Seriously. I had those on my Netflix queue and as soon as they were released I slammed them to the top. It was an amazing experience to suck down the entire season at once. I had everything fresh in my mind when the second season started.
juliana, I am. That scene between her and Gemma in the supermarket was excellent.
I keep forgetting about this thread - argh.
And yes. I'm loving everything Katy Segal does with Gemma. This week? Her manipulation of Wendy (who is, indeed, very easily led), especially the kiss-benediction, was masterful.
She used to star in a show called Profiler, which was awesome
THAT'S where I've seen her before. Aha! (I swear, SOA is entirely cast with "Hey! It's that guy/gal!"-type actors.)
Free pass from prison because she threatens/whines that she'll rat if Jacks doesn't let her out? No fallback on Unser for that?
Well, we did see a bit of fallout this week. And I can believe Jax springing her. I don't think Bobby would have, necessarily.
FYI: The score music from Mad Men was released today and is available on iTunes.

SoA: Those bastards killed Heather!
I KNOW! and for nothing!! all because Tig couldn't be bothered to bring his damned cell phone. I can't WAIT for next week.
SOA: I thought they did a great job with the opening and closing sequences. I knew somebody had to die, and I think they made the right call for the story. I just wish they'd let Clay and Tig live with this secret for a bit, but from the previews it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
