Isn't Peggy's dress ADORABLE!??
OMG I thought it was but in close-up it's almost unbearable adorable!
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

I won the Double Jeopardy but it didn't award me double what I'd bet!
You mean the Daily Double? It's not supposed to award you double; it's called that because you can double your total if you bet everything.

ah! It's been years since I've watched the show.
I did well. I guess it's what I get instead of being hip in 2008.
Clearly, these folks have also never read big, glittery roman à clefs ala Judith Krantz or Jacqueline Susann.
I haven't, and I've not read much Faulkner nor have I seen much Fellini. So I guess I wouldn't get the whole point.
But, I'm here to see if anyone watched last night's Sons Of Anarchy, and what they thought. Also, I just remembered that last week's episode passed the Bechtel (sp?) test, which pleased me (possibly more than it should, but this is an amazingly male-centric show, so). And fuck Hamlet, Gemma's Lady Mac is reaching Lear in her obsessiveness. I think. I should flesh that one out.
I haven't watched it yet, I've been catching up on eps. I'm really enjoying it though.
What's the Bechtel test?
Isn't that where two women have a conversation that isn't about a man?

Ayup. I had resigned myself to the show not passing that test ever, so it was a nice bonus.
What ep are you on, Vortex?
Just finished "AK-51" about the guns and Taryn Manning getting thwacked in the face with a skateboard.
That moment, for all it was telegraphed, was still a Holy Shit! moment for me. And then I loved Gemma even more (though I do not condone thwacking people across the face with a skateboard).
