He's got a Gregory Peck thing working for him, too.
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I think that Peggy was in some kind of psych ward. And Don telling her to do whatever they want her to do to get out and move on was very interesting. I think that Don was in a similar situation sometime in the past, and that is part of his sanguinity on the whole situation.
That's what I was thinking as well. That sense of urgency when he told her to tell them whatever they wanted her to say. It's such a fascinating dynamic between them.
Don was in a similar situation...I think that was a direct reference to when he woke up in the hospital after his war accident.
I'm sorry - did Java cat say he's got a Gregory Peck thing?

Was that in the first season? Also, in the previouslies there was a scene with Pete saying that Don's real name was something else and I don't remember seeing that before.

Yep.

Hon, you need to catch up on S1! It was the major drama! or, one of the two, anyway. Spoilerfont only in case you don't actually want to know:
"Don" was born Dick Whitman, illegitimate redneck. Don Draper was his commanding officer in Korea. When the original-version Don got blowed up, our Don switched dogtags (and thereby took Original Don's college degree, officer rank, opportunity to not go back home to redneckiana...). Pete intercepted a package from Dick/Don's brother, tried to blackmail him to get Don's job, but instead Bert Cooper thought it was the funniest thing since his last sake binge and gave everyone a free copy of Ayn Rand.
Yeah, that was in the episode "Nixon vs. Kennedy" where we found out what happened to the original Don Draper and how Pete used the information to try to blackmail Don with Cooper, who, essentially, didn't give a rat's ass what Don's real name or identity was.
did Java cat say he's got a Gregory Peck thing?
Yup. He reminds me of a young Gregory Peck. Why?
Yeah, it looks like I missed more episodes than I thought! Is it out on DVD yet?
quester: yes. with really nice packaging.
