Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I've watched a few of them, and same. It's fine? I guess? It feels like it checks off the boxes for Prestige or whatever, but isn't actually that great.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, the concept is very exciting, but the actual show never really seems to go anywhere.

It sure looks cool, and Chris Pine, but then what?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are rewatching Deadwood in anticipation of the coming film and, damn, it's just so good. Great female characters and such a huge canvas. Hits my sweet spot for sure.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hits my sweet spot for sure.

Don't you mean your "cocksucking sweet spot"?

Heng mai, y'all. Haven't thought about this since I met a candidate named Paula Jean Swearingen. Of course I was all "Swergin!" and she was like "?!"(She had never seen it at all. Difficult twitter confab.)

The Fosse/Verdon premiere was so good! Did anyone else watch?

Yeah, I've been watching it...it's funny because one of the few places I know GV work from is one of my absolute fave Homicide episodes(She threw her husband down the stairs and tried to make it look like an accident.) but I don't know these Broadway stories.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'm watching! I'm not sure there's much to learn beyond what we saw in the first ep (she is more talented and he's kind of a jerk!), but the music is good and I'm really enjoying the performances.
