I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Talking about it with a friend we're speculating that Don goes back to McCann with one of the most famous ad lines ever for Coke: "It's the Real Thing." Ties in with Hobart giving Don the Coke account and the setup with the Coke machine in this last episode. And yes, historically McCann did that advertising campaign.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

No need to whitefont pure speculation, David!

Also: Cool theory, although I'm not convinced Don is going back. Still, the Coke Callbacks do imply that the writers will do something with them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would have liked to have seen Don roaming from town to town making minor mechanical repairs and reading novels, personally. ALthough giving his car to the kid was pretty good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Again, I would have been glad with this as the finale episode! I hope Wiener doesn't fuck it up next week.

Yep. But also, I just finished reading a Jack Reacher book, so the idea of a Don Draper version of that useful hobo life is right in the front of my brain.

Lots of people were predicting them together.

I liked it. It seemed very Peggy to me.

Seriously? That's it? WTF?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Are we supposed to infer Don went back and wrote it?
