If he does tell you to fuck off, that will mean he has read it. Maybe the message will stick, regardless of his reaction.
I've totally given up on reacting to every serial killer storyline featuring child abuse. Not all of us wield AKs!
But for a specific correlation that is patently false, it's worth it to shine the light where you can.
Well, people feel guilty about stuff, especially with their kids, all the time, but that doesn't mean that their perception is accurate. It's too bad they can't write in a character to say "I know you feel bad about all the stuff that happened when he was a baby, but you didn't cause that."(It's mostly so sad when TV tries to do "tragic hero" anyway(except Frank Sobotka on The Wire, that was the first time sophomore English made real sense.)
I've had several people I admire tell me to fuck off on twitter over the last year or so...complicated feels. On the one hand, they noticed. But maybe you didn't express yourself effectively so the one time they're actually looking, you look like a schmuck.
No, bonny, more people than not sort of glue themselves back together as best they can and are hard to distinguish from, you know,"gen pop", although increasingly I find it hard to believe that anyone's family is ever fully functional like the charts at all times.
Does anyone watch Bates Motel? I just did a quick search of this thread but couldn't find any discussion of it. I'm on episode 3 of S1 and so far I think it is interesting and incredibly dark.
Tried one ep. Not my beautiful cake. Glad you saw something I didn't.
I watch it. I think it's crazy, uneven, and that Vera Farmiga is fabulous.

I can see the uneven, but VF really is fascinating to watch.
I've loved her since the US remake of Touching Evil, which had her, Jeffrey Donovan, and Bradley Cooper.
White Collar comes back on Thursday.
Is this the last season of White Collar?
Yeah, and I don't think it's even a full one.
