Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey--how did they handle the actor's death in Rizzoli & Isles? I watched the show idly, but had to stop before they reached his death because he was the best thing on it, and I loved him for a long time.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ita, I don't know if it aired last night or next week, but I read it was going to be a car accident.

The premiere was this week, and I'm good with knowing, so not going to watch.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The character died the end of last night's episode, next week will be the reactions and whatnot. So, not done handling.

Was he in it? It's so hard to tell the timing with filming of cable series.

He died before they filmed the final episode of last season, so he wasn't in that one, but they didn't have time to write him out so they said he was on vacation.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

The last ep or two of last season, Frost was "on vacation". This 1st ep he was supposed to be coming back, I believe, "later today". Then Corsack got a phone call that there was a bad car accident, then at the scene we saw Maura standing up from a covered figure in the road and giving them the head-shake. Then reaction shots were the last scene of the ep.

No, he didn't appear. He was in the previews for next week, I'm guessing they are repurposing some footage and it probably won't be much.

Ugh, thanks.

Repurposed footage. I still haven't worked out how F&F7 is going to be for me, or Hunger Games 3.

I've seen The Crow once. I own it, but I can't watch it again.

Yet.

I thought the rebooted Dallas did a pretty good job using repurposed footage to say good-bye to Larry Hagman.
