ARE YOU KIDDING ME, FARGO?!?
Was that to the "One Year Later"? Because lord knows that was my reaction to that particular revelation. OMG this show is so much fun in a nasty, nasty way.
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

No, that was actually a previous episode. I was on board with the One Year Later.
So what was that in reaction too, -t? Molly getting shot?
Yup. They did a nice job of taking away the certainty I would normally have that the main POV character would survive. Pulled the rug out from under me, that did.
El Rey is an interesting network. I've been watching it to get my fix of S2 Dark Angel, but bumped into Mariachis and kung fu movies. Robert Rodriguez seems to be at least partially responsible for it, and racial diversity seems to be part of the point.
Not that there are any more black people than normal, but I guess we have BET?
Oh, and Grindhouse. He's big on that too. And Chucky. It's either random or complicated.
It's either random or complicated.
Can't it be both? Although I don't think I get El Ray so I can't judge.

That's basically what he said on Colbert recently.
Black people don't need no representation? Asian people represented in old school kung fu classics?
Haven't seen any Indian people yet--but by calling it El Rey, I guess you're clearly leading with Hispanics. It's just the claim for larger general representation...dodgy.
My impression is that it's Latino representation + stuff he likes, not that the goal is overall diversity. But again, that's literally just from a 6 minute interview months ago.
Are we discussing Longmire (A&E) anywhere? I caught an episode because of Starbuck feels (Katee Sackhoff is one of the main characters), and I'm really enjoying it. The scenery is amazing, and I think most of the actors are doing a really good job with their roles.
