I really enjoyed season 2. Mostly because Lagertha got to be awesome.

Because books.

Lagertha's pretty awesome in S1, too. And looking at Travis Fimmel doesn't hurt, either, although his eyes cannot be that blue naturally, can they?

I'm also ridiculously fond of Athelstan.

I am so relieved that Bob Odenkirk listened to Molly.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Me too, t. he's kicking ass in this role. I am SO enjoying the way this show is unfolding. I really don't like that Malvo knows where Grimly lives now.

That is extremely troubling.

I was so happy to see the Don and Peggy Show Back in fine fettle.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know enough about these Men who are Mad, but the X-Men part of this X-Mad-Men parody is a bit disappointing.

(Oddly, it's a Quiznos ad that says nothing about Quiznos)

It mentions toasted sandwiches.

I know, but apart from the poster in the background, they ignore the brand. Someone listening and not looking 100% could be headed out to Subway right now.

That is true. A calculated risk, I suppose - it is supposed to be so compelling that you don't do that, presumably. As a dual parody - it's a good idea but I don't love the execution. The casting could certainly be better.
