Filler? Huh.
One of my co-workers mentioned she thought she'd start watching Breaking Bad, someone recommended it to her saying "It's great, and then it gets weird, and then it gets really great again." I wanted to be enthusiastic, but I really couldn't say anything other than "it's so good", but at least I got that much out.
I'm finally up to S5 on Netflix! I may just barely catch up by the time the entire series ends!
It may have been a little less HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK than recent episodes, but that's because recent episodes have set the bar really high. It definitely wasn't filler, though; I wasn't expecting the Hank/Jesse team-up, and there were very important developments on the Walt/Jesse front.
Also, we meet Mrs. Heisenberg.
Finding out that Hank values Jesse's life less than Walt (though is probably a touch less dangerous) was an important reveal to me. As was Hank sharing the case development with a co-worker, not just his wife.
I'd like to hope that some devilish plottiness has rubbed off on Jesse in a good way, since clearly lots of bad touches rubbed up on him.
Still loving on Suits. I love Louis, I love how they have the "drama" of him and cats and Spock running in parallel with the nefarious lawdoings of Harvey and Jessica and give him one "human" contact at a time to ground him.
You know, I had my doubts about this Luther 4 night event thing, but here we are on night three and what with one thing and another I won't be able to see this episode until tomorrow and I think I've got a little Idris withdrawal.
I kind of liked the Luther season 4, but I think the final episode is a bit of a disappointment. They start strong and end...eh.
I didn't like the first two episodes, but I really liked the second two episodes.
I just finished season 1 & 2. I am now going to the eps labeled "current season" on comcast. I would swear that is series 3 rather than series 4.
