Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think Bob is gay and he may or may not have been sincere about his attraction to Pete, but I definitely think there is more to him than that.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I don't know if he is attracted to Pete, but I thought he was trying to save [Manolo]'s job.

Telling Pete that Manolo is gay could help. Coming on to Pete? Not so much.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I told you all I am bad with names. Thanks.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, it seems like a risky move. But it does put him in a position of having a secret with Pete, the way he does with Joan, although not one Pete will be glad to be in on. Hm.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well, I'm convinced.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I saw the scene in question on The Backlot and was taken aback by the hair situation going on. I'm thinking that a person would have to possess a much more appealing personality than Pete to overcome how he looks now and become someone's crush object.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, the hair situation is pretty dire.

I'm not totally convinced, but they make a good enough argument that I won't be mad if that's all there is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I won't be mad if that's all there is.

"All there is"? C'mon they are doing a lot of work to put you into 1968 to show you just how monumentally dangerous and difficult it was to be gay in the sixties.

I have to make note of some scenes because the writing and performances were so amazing.

First, that scene with Ted, Peggy and Pete having dinner and the moment of connection between Peggy and Pete when Ted leaves the table. Damn, but Ms. Moss and PK brought all kinds of layers to that moment.

Also, the dinner blow up with Sally storming away from table. Amazing, heartbreaking acting by Shipka and Hamm on either side of the door. That breach will never really be repaired.

I also want to note how great Linda Cardellini has been this season. In many ways, this is just another of Don's flings, but especially since they broke up she's bringing so much life and dimension and sorrow and passion and conflict to her character. She's really embodying the consequences of the people he hurts when they come into his orbit.

Also, I was looking forward to every scene with Pete's mother. So much comedy and pathos and cutting hurt in those scenes. Channing Chase is really giving a wonderful performance as Dorothy.
