Buffy: You tossed that vamp like he was a... little teeny vamp. Riley: You wanna go again? C'mon. I bet this place is just teeming with aerodynamic vampires.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought she felt guilty because she didn't really want the kid (or was ambivalent). Not that she had made an active choice to terminate.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I thought she felt guilty because she didn't really want the kid (or was ambivalent). Not that she had made an active choice to terminate.

That is what she said, I'm just not sure if I believe it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I guess I can see Megan lying to Don about a made-up miscarriage, but given the spontaneity of her conversation with Sylvia, it's clear that "something" happened. My money is on it being a real miscarriage, wouldn't 6 weeks be so early that most abortionists might want to wait?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think Megan was lying. This show hasn't flinched about abortion before, so I think we'd know if that's what the ep was about.

6 weeks pregnant is 2 weeks past a missed period, which means Megan found out she was pregnant and then found out she wasn't anymore within a matter of days.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mad Men Power Rankings: [link] Trudy is definitely too low.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I finally just finished watching the most recent episode, and I'm sure I will have other things to say at some point but right now all I can manage is FUCK YEAH TRUDY!

Alison Brie is my favorite in anything, ever. (Except for Claire Danes. I don't know what would become of my heart if I happened to see a show that contained both of them.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ignore the article, but watch the video with Brie and Paul Thompkins. It is really great. 20 min.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think Don's stepmother fell into really hard times after his father died and went to a brothel. That's how I read that situation.

Me too. But, I thought that she knew the woman who ran the place, she wasn't there to be a prostitute. The only one we saw her sleep with was the creepy guy who was with the woman who ran the place. And after he made his comment about her helping out or whatever, I'm not really sure that she had a choice.
