Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It isn't Ella May?

That's how it almost always sounds but they've been pretty clear it's Ellen May.

How much do I love Tim in the previous episode? All of the love I have. All of it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Julie,

Ava was physically ill when she agreed to have Colt take EM away. Because of this weeks ago, I knew she wasn't going to be able to shoot her.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think it was the gun in her own hand that really bespoke her hypocrisy. And which bugged. I think it's her half-assedness with the badness. You're running a whorehouse, your beau is killing people, your employees are dumping bodies in mineshafts, you killed your abusive husband. I can't feel for that kind of character when they get cold feet, I'm not feeling your pain when you get slapped with the cold hard reality of deliberately causing someone's death, and I felt that way back when she got all weepy about the initial decision to kill Ellen May. That's one of those "think about your life, think about your choices".

I think I just don't get Ava. And I also have the constant urge to write her name in all caps, like it's an acronym.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Whew. Justified. I am wrung out.

Good season.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

This is petty, but was anyone else bothered by the fact that Raylan was drinking Heineken? It seems out of character.

I was not. I don't figure he's particular, just picked up whatever was on display near the register. And after spackling up the whole in the wall that poured forth all this mayhem, nothing like a cold beer.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I loved that he was sealing up the wall at the end.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Can someone tell me how far into the season the snake handling goes? I watched all of Justified up until this season, but the commercials with the snakes made me stop. Would I be able to follow storylines with my eyes closed, or should I just give up on this season altogether?

Scrappy, it didn't occur to me til then that that's his house, now. Raylan's home. The ending with the graves was just really good, it would take a lot of words to explicate all that.

Morgana, I think closing your eyes or even FFing through the snake handling won't really hurt following the story. When important stuff happens, I believe it also gets talked about after.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Although, ya know - snake in the face. That one's kinda hard to avoid, at least in part(s).

Whitefonted for Morgana's benefit.
