Jason still wears Paco Rabanne, which seems to date from that era, too.
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I usually default to Ivory soap and Sure deodorant rather than relying on cologne, but on occasions when I felt compelled to use the latter I started out with Old Spice in high school, then cycled through Pierre Cardin, Oleg Cassini, and now a knock-off of Calvin Klein's Eternity. (The soap version of the latter was what made my ex the best-smelling man I've been around to this day.)
On the right person, Drakkar is just a wonderful scent. When the wrong person wears it (someone whose chemistry does not mix well with Drakkar), it is really odious.
Luckily more people learned not to totally bathe in their applied scents after high school. Man, you could smell some guys before they got to the same hall. Drakkar, Polo and ... there might have been one other.

I love how clearly we can remember these things.
Brut! Brut was huge when I was in high school.
Am I the only Buffista who has mad lust for Adam Rothenberg on Ripper Street? Because whoa.
I'm not sure I'd cop to mad lust, but he's certainly a very attractive fellow. (I think it might be like Copper - everyone and everything seem so grungy, or gritty, or grim [double-letter alliteration, I dork high-five myself!] all the time, that my lust is not as near the surface as it could be).
Definitely attractive & charming though. (Your taste in eye-candy is validated!)
edited to close a parens, I know my audience.
Man, I loved me some Drakkar Noir back in the day. A few years ago, I smelled it randomly in a mall. I was half attracted, half repulsed. I had such good memories, but on the other hand, if some guy was still wearing it in 2010 or whenever, what kind of guy was he?
Is Drakkar Noir out of fashion now? It's not like you can tell if he had been wearing it back in the day, and if he had, I'm not clear on what's wrong with wearing it now too.

Someone who cares more about what works for him than about what's in fashion?
