Does the doctor's wife not appear in the first episode?
You're right, she does. But she's the only woman in an ordinary situation that we see.
I'd forgotten the spoiler rules, actually.
Cordelia ,'You're Welcome'
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

2nd was better than the first. Am I wrong that Kyle Schmid delivered an extremely wooden performance as Morehouse? Especially at the end when he was telling Cororan how careful they had to be - I forget the word not agile but something on those lines. But his delivery was like he was reading it off the teleprompter and had never seen it before.
Also the stokes with which some of the characters are drawn seem a bit broad. The police have shades of grey and so does Morehouse if he can be played properly. But Elizabeth so far seems to be a 21st century woman stranded in the 19th century, perhaps by The Doctor. Freeman seems pretty much a saint. Freeman's wife may or may not be promising. She is traumatized, but has a gun, skill at using it and determination. That could be a very narrow character indeed, or she could be great if they move beyond trauma victim fighting back.
The end took me by surprise. And was a good choice. For this reason I'll try a third episode. But I also don't really trust the showrunners at this point not to screw it up.

He seemed fine to me.
Randomly, I wonder how Anne Dudek feels about being in all the ads for Covert Affairs when she got written out of the show.
She was fired? She didn't leave?
She just had a baby in March. Maybe the pregnancy interfered with the filming schedule? The show definitely left the door open for her to come back.
Oh, that would explain it. OK, then. I just thought it was weird they had her move away instead of just not showing Annie at home.
Holy shit! Breaking Bad! Of course Hank knows because they were all so happy!!
Hell of a cliffhanger.
And sweet montages.
Breaking Bad really has mastered the art of the musical montage. Man.
I was really hoping Hank would actually, you know, figure it out himself, but holy shiiiiiiiit (literally).
