Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Art Crawl!!!

Bourdain blogs TC the best - so amusing.

I think I saw maybe one episode of Rocco diSpirito's show. Interesting what Bourdain says at the end of the blog about him.

Art Crawl!!!

Interesting, Barton G is now a permanent blogger for TC - but does this mean that Padma will not be blogging at all?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that was something to think about. I'm looking forward to the ep more now than I was.

I didn't realie this thread existed until yesterday. Much less that it was half about SYTYCD!! Wheeeee!!! Yay.

Loving SYTYCD, but wondering--last year there were so many dances that I just LOVED, that really stuck in my brain (and that I downloaded the music for!). Is it just htat we haven't hit the top ten yet, and those dances are yet to come? Or was I just overly wowed last year since it was the first time I saw teh show? Or are the dances less exciting so far this year?

I think the dances this week were not as good as previous dances this season. I never saw last season, but Nigel and Mary have both been saying they felt they had better dancers overall this season than last. So, maybe six of one, half dozen of the other?

Oh yeah, I meant the dances/choreography/music, not necessarily the dancers...

Did they have the same choreographers? There's a few I like and a few I don't particularly care for. I like most of Wade's stuff, some of Mia's, very little of Shane's.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I'm watching the Food Network EXTREME CAKE CHALLENGE!!! and it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Duff Goldman is the head judge, Geof and Mary Alice are the other judges, and the competing chefs are doing the craziest shit I've ever seen. The display portion of each cake included Duff standing by with a fire extinguisher.

It's not your imagination. The only dance that has been memorable to me is Hok and Jamie's hummingbird/flower dance. And (I think) the dances I remember from previous seasons were mostly before the Top Ten: Allison and Ivan's tango, the Fall Out Boy marionette number, much of Benji and Donyelle's stuff, etc.
