what about group numbers?

I actually prefer Allison/Ivan's contemporary to Why over the umbrella one

OH!!! I'd forgotten that one! How could I have forgotten that one??? I loved that one! I'll have to see if I can track it down on YouTube somewhere.

for silliness, how about Benji/Travis hip hop from the finale or even Benji/Donyelle's hip hop from the top 20.

Oh, I liked both of those. The Benji/Donyelle made me like Benji at the beginning so much more than I would have, to start. And the Benji/Travis just made me think of a drag king number, really. Which made me adore it. (God, Season 2 was so my favorite...)

I think I liked that Samba dance, but didn't like the SONG "Hip Hip Chin Chin", was my problem--I was rewatching that the other day...

...I so wish I could go to Vegas for those auditions. I mean, I know I couldn't POSSIBLY keep up. But I just would love to watch. Damn.

Though I'd probably want too badly to bitchslap people.

I feel bad for people who got cut or had to dance for their lives just cause they ended up in groups with shitty choreography. The groups they showed with awesome choreography were cool...but they weren't necessarily better *dancers*, really.

Trying to follow Mia's "oom bak koo KAAHAH!" choreography? Oh god.

There's a Benji/Heidi latin dance to black mambo that is incredible, and for a group number, the Rama Lama zombie thing.

Oh, the Rama Lama zombie thing is SOOOO on my list. Benji Heidi black mambo thing? Hmm. Don't remember that, but may have to look it up.

I don't still have any of Season2 on my TiVO, which I'm shocked by, but then I think I may have put it all on DVD, so I need to look around and see if I have those. I do still have the last several eps of Season 3 on TiVo, and plan to put those on DVD.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What about the group number where Sabra is Queen of the Matrix?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Such an awesome number! Although still slightly disturbing to think they are cousins.

Looking at some of the Season 1 stuff (not much of which seems to be on YouTube), I got very nostalgic for both the picking of the partners they used to do, and all the time they used to spend actually showing you the choreography sessions.

And even though the talent pool has really expanded, the top people from season 1 (Melody, Nick, Ashle, Blake) really had some good technique. They could even make a Tyce routine seem sexy: [link]
