The other thing that's exciting is that I think Stephanie has a real shot, and it's definitely time for a woman to win, but it's not going to be some bullshit Tyra move.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Yes! Spike is out!
3 to 1 chance it will be a woman!
I didn't realize that Spike had been in the bottom more than Lisa.
Ding! Dong! AssHatAss is gone! As soon as he went with frozen scallops, I figured he was toast, and good riddance.
But Kitty-butt-face lives to fight another round. Oh well. If she pulled off peanut butter mashed potatoes, she's obviously got some sort of skill.
I also think Richard's wheels are coming off a little for some reason - I think Stephanie has a really good shot.
Are there three more rounds, or just one round of the final four (having not seen prior seasons)?
Haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but I'm starting to think that, if Antonia keeps focussing on making food that tastes good, she might actually have a shot.

Oh, she certainly does. She's got a lousy attitude and doesn't take responsibility for her flaws -- which is what makes her sloppy frequently -- but she's not a complete hack. (Looking at you, Spike.)

Stephanie has an excellent shot, but remember, they don't go straight to Puerto Rico -- they get to go home and rest for a bit. Which means they come back fresh: No frazzle, no exhaustion. And for some, there's a possibility that it might dull their edge some, although I have no reason to believe that anyone in particular is in danger of that. (Although I do think Antonia and Stephanie benefited from endurance -- Stephanie hit a wall and then caught her second wind, Antonia just kept getting better as it went on. I suspect she's someone who buckles down more depending on the pressure.)

I think any sensible gambler would put money on Stephanie to win, with a good chance of Richard, but Antonia makes a really good dark horse this race.

She's the long shot winner, for sure. But when she says "Screw it, I'm making something that I think tastes good," she wins challenges. And she seems to be able to handle the pressure.

Two more rounds -- they'll cut one, and then there's a final three extravaganza.
Thanks, Jesse.
Also, I didn't realize they got time off before the finals. I agree, Victor, I can see that working either as a benefit or a hinderance.
Of Richard, Antonia and Stephanie, I actually think it's Richard who works least well under pressure, though I do think they all work well under pressure to some degree (especially compared to Lisa, who gets mega-sloppy and takes short cuts in those situations).
I can't believe I forgot to watch TC!!! I spent all evening fucking around on Facebook...on the plus side I did win two games of Scramble and one of Pathwords. That's something, right?
Can't wait to see Spike get the boot.
