Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
And I'll be losing my Sunday, too! I just can't help myself. Thursday, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday!
I just watched the Neil/Sabra business dance, and I think I can stop watching now. I love that so much.
Yeah, I watched it all the way through to the end because I am a ginormous dork. But it was sooo good. And I got to see the Two Princes dance again which is one of my favorite dances on all three seasons of the show. And the Lacey/Danny Samba. And yes the Neil/Sabra table dance. Both also awesome.
Yeah, I had to watch all of that after all.
did you see the hummingbird dance? That was my favorite.
Ha! Jesse, my sistah.
I remember being really annoyed by the finale last year, but watching it just now, I didn't mind nearly as much. Probably because I already knew who was going to win, so I didn't care about all the bloat.
I missed the hummingbird -- I was taping the performance shows, but not the announcement shows, but they weren't actually showing them on the hour -- everything was ten minutes off.
I did skip the finale.
I really wish they'd show Season 1 all through like that, because I never saw it, I started watching with the start of Season 2!
I watched some of it today, but had to go grocery shopping. When I got back I was in time for the last 3 shows. I liked the dances better this time. I was so biased during the competition that I really didn't appreciate everyone. this time I just could watch and enjoy! Can't wait for Thursday!
