True.
Looks like NBC's version of Top Gear is a mid-season replacement.

Another excellent line from Ted's blog:
And fear not, Andrew fans; I’d bet good money that you’ll see Andrew again. No way Bravo’s gonna waste somebody that crazy ….
Top Chef:
I HATE HIM SO MUCH AND HIS STUPID STUPID HATS.
Needed to be said again. I was thinking about this, actually, wondering if I hated the hats because I hated him or hated him because I hated the hats. I didn't come to any conclusion.
I'm fine with any of those bottom three going. The other two can go asap, please.
Oh, and I disliked Antonia making that comment about Dale "only cooking Asian food" - whatever. .. she cooks an awful lot of stuff that she makes at home. (And it's not true - did he not make a Polish sausage dish for one of the challenges?)
Yeah, that pinged me, too, sumi. It's a no win for Asians on this show, because either they get accused of only cooking Asian food like Dale or of not cooking enough Asian food like Hung.
Everybody should just cook whatever tastes good and not worry about it, for themselves and for the other contestants.
It has been pointed out with regard to more than Asian food, though. Ilan got a lot of remarks for cooking only Spanish-inspired stuff, IIRC. And of course there was Marcel and his foams.
But it's true that everyone should focus on their own cooking, and not each other's.

As much as Antonia's food bores me, she's done really well following this rule so far, especially at Quickfires. In all her interview segments she says things like "I really like to eat [x] so that's what I'm going to make." Her food isn't all that creative, but it does seem to be tasty.

I did wonder if he has an entire special suitcase just for his hats.
I think he only has like 5 hats because I swear I've seen 2 of them over and over and over again.

Also, it's not like he's only cooking from one cuisine -- he did something homestyle filippino, didn't he? and last night was Vietnamese inspired. I don't think Nikki would have gotten flack for cooking French, because "all she does is European food."
