To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

THAT'S ALL HE DID.

Not to mention Chilean Sea Bass is reeeeeeeeeeeeally hard to screw up. It's a nice rich fatty fish that you can pretty much cook to death and it'll come out juicy and delicious.

I think they sent the right person home. I'm giving Dale the benefit of the doubt for his hissy fit, because they're all tired, and he does have a temper. I also think, this challenge aside, he's a much more accomplished chef than Nikki.

Yeah, exactly. I had the same thoughts as everybody else basically. Nikki really pissed me off with not taking charge. I mean, come on!

I'm still pissed at Antonia about the sausage thing from a couple of weeks ago but she's kind of growing on me. She was particularly funny last night.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Yeah, that was great. Richard seems like a genuinely good guy, in addition to being a talented and interesting cook.

Yeah, like Vortex said, I was worried about him being an asshole in the beginning, but he has turned out to be great. Also, kudos for taking on the bride--I thought that was an insane risk.

I think Dale's problem is that he's decided he's better than everyone else (except maybe Richard) and somehow that means he can't work with them.

I definitely think Nikki should have gone home, but I'm glad Dale got raked over the coals for his attitude and efforts.

I can't get excited about Antonia. Her food always just looks kid of blah.

my friend Jesse and I just kept shrieking hot tranny fierce mess! mess of a hot tranny! hot mess! and on and on...

Hah! You read the fourfour, right, Meara? Ever since this post

Whenever, Dominique came on the screen my ANTM group has yelled "TOOTHLESS? FUCK FUCK TOOTHLESS!" Also, "shut up, toothless old man!"

I'm just so glad she didn't make the Top 3. My verrrrrrrrrry pregnant friend I watch with was threatening to bust something up good if Dominique wasn't finally eliminated last night. And I was sitting next to her. Of course we joked that maybe what she would break is her water! I think the baby might think that Tyra lives with us, though, and is maybe afraid to come out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hee!

Back to Top Chef, how much did I love the Quickfire? A LOT. I love that kind of demonstration of skill, and loved Collicchio's o_O face at the crappy filets.

You may be right about that. I think that he was also annoyed that he couldn't be the leader, because it wasn't his kind of cooking. I think that if Dale had been the leader, it would have been a different team. They still wouldn't have liked each other, but it would have worked better.

Art Crawl!!!

I LOVE the Mise-en-place relay race - best QF task ever. And I love how Stephanie was so up on the past one.

Yes! Good for her, too. I'm always baffled by reality show contestants who haven't watched earlier seasons of the shows they're on.
