Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

This seasons, I think people like Syesha and Archie can sing, I just have no interest in their performances

Megan is me. I tune most of their performances out. If I can, then they aren't doing something right. ND performed a song I'd never heard before and his voice is starting to go, but I listened to and watched the whole thing. He's a performer.

That's how I feel about a lot of what David Cook has done. He doesn't have the best voice, but it has been interesting.

The other David just creeps me out. I don't think Justin is a good singer, but I'll also cop to be prejudiced against him because he looks so much like one of my exes. I might like Syesha if she ever chose a song I knew.

Art Crawl!!!

Now, on this Elimination Challenge: Feed a family of four for ten bucks? At Whole Foods?! Have you ever been to Whole Foods? It costs $10 to drive past the place. I once brought an organic melon to the checkout in a Whole Foods in Chicago, and it rang up at $12! (Needless to say, that melon stayed in the store.)

Project Runway Season 6 will film in LA and NYC.

I wonder how this splitting between two coasts thing is going to work.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Survivor: Aww, so sad about James. He dealt with it well, but I thought he could go all the way.

Thought Amanda played things VERY well. Definitely gets points on the "outwit" scale for that make-everyone-vote-for-me ploy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What scrappy said. The show has kept me interested through the loss of good characters via good suspense.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Another fun tribal council, for sure.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ITA Scrappy. This season has been AWESOME with the blindsides.

Poor Alexis, we hardly knew ye.

And poor James, having to show up in the jury carrying his IV!

Has the environment gotten more dangerous, or have the medics gotten more strict?

While I haven't really enjoyed the season, these last few tribal councils have been AWESOME.

Has the environment gotten more dangerous, or have the medics gotten more strict?

I think there have been way more physical challenges (and IMO they haven't been fun to watch, which is one reason that I was pretty bored by this season). Also, I think that they should just treat them right away with bandages and Cipro (or whatever), instead of making them tough it out. I know they are not really out in the wild, "surviving".
