Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Spike needs to take off that stupid hat before I make him eat it.

Just 'cause I needed to see it said again.

The show is over? The show is over? It's no, "You're out." It's not even a "Please pack up your knives and go." Oh, Bravo.

There was not nearly enough dance in this dance show. I think dance is not conducive to these kind of "quickfire" challenges for immunity and then a final challenge. It just . . . doesn't flow. And these dancers are really, for the most part, not very good. Dude, you're in LA. This is the best you could scrounge up? Go to an open level hip hop class at any halfway decent studio and you'd find better. Ugh. This won't tide me over until SYTYCD/Best Dance Crew return.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OMGah, the final line in Survivor's scenes from next week will quite possibly be the funniest thing ever on show. Because IT'S A STICK! [dipshit!]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh god yes. I had to rewind that like three times.

So happy it's coming out like that and not at tribal council though. But I'm pretty bored with these people at this point.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

But it's a movie about 2 strong women!

That's the other thing - it's really not. It's a movie about ONE woman. IN A COMA.

I think they probably were really thinking of All About My Mother or maybe Volver but couldn't remember the right title. Either way it made no sense.

Christ, if you're going to do Almadovar for a food movie, do Women on the Verge... and make gazpacho (skipping the sedatives, hopefully).

Punishingly Intricate

Whoo, Holly! I am so happy that she won. Well done, America.

Oh YAY! I couldn't watch last night because I'd gotten so fed up with the boys vs. girls aspect.

I laughed like a drain. I think there will definitely be a lot of rewatching when that goes down. Although, I totally agree with megan that I am bored by the vast majority of these folks. Survivor lost a lot of steam this season with the early ouster of Yau Man and the sad, sad departure of Jeff's friend Penner.

SO MUCH THIS. During this episode, I thought it might turn out to be the Worst Episode Ever. (One challenge? And we have to spend a half hour with a five-person tribe that's gonna vote out Eric?) At least there was a little drama there. But I guess the only person I'm rooting for at this point is Eliza, because she rocks at challenges, is clearly the smartest person there, and doesn't appear to have her ego all up in it, OZZY.
