I just read reports that Robert Irvine of Dinner Impossible lied about his resume and has been let go from the Food Network. link This makes me sad.
Okay reality tv peoples, can someone explain the Bad Girl's Club to me?? I keep flipping by it and getting sucked in but I don't understand the point of it. Is it a competition???
Or...is that one reality show too far for everyone else?
I read that about Robert Irvine too. Why do people do that? Wasn't his resume impressive enough as it was?
I had wondered why TWOP's Dinner Impossible thread was so active. Somebody linked to this article back on the 18th of February. And they also put up the resume in question.
And Michael Ruhlman and Tony Bourdain nominated him for a "Golden Clog" award:
THE CAT CORA AWARD
For most fame based on least actual culinary achievement
Nominees: Guy Fieri for..."Tex Wasabi?"; Tony Bourdain--"One fucking book. Did this asshole ever work anyplace GOOD?"; Robert Irvine--"Sir Robert? Uh....Maybe not. Prince Charles' wedding cake?...uh...no. White House? Hmmm..not according to Walter Scheib....Five Stars? Who IS this guy? Really?"
The fact that Bourdain is nominated for a chump award on his own made-up award list is a nice illustration of why he is AWESOME.

I think that was hysterical. Go Tony!
I'm watching whatever cycle of ANTM is running on MTV right now, and OH MY GOD, why is Jade so insane? I've seen the ending bits of this cycle more often, so I remember her exit, as she spouted poetry. But she was just insane from the beginning.
