"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm so mad that Rami is still in this shit. He showed the same fucking dress again. He has a lot of talent and his drapery is perfection. He showed some initative with the candy challenge, but that's the only time he didn't drape. Because he COULDN'T.

I loved Chris' outfit, and I liked the way that it straddled the line between couture and wearability. I loved how cute he was when Roberto Cavalli loved him.

ok, side note WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH HEIDI'S HAIR. it was a mess!

Christian's outfit was clearly the strongest, as annoying as I find him. he has a lot of talent, but not a lot of maturity. His demeanor and way of dealing with people will hurt him if he gets his own line. He was always arrogant, but now he's insufferable.

Seriously, it was bad Farrah hair, that is, worse than good Farrah hair. If such a thing exists.

ETA: And the results were about what they should be. It will be interesting to see how Chris and Rami approach the competing-for-third element.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It was interesting how they all felt like they were stepping it up for the last challenge, but they all did exactly what they do -- even Sweet P. Like the judges said, she makes nice dresses that women would want to buy and wear. I think Chris has the most versatility in what he's able to do, and Rami is really philosophically committed to draping, so it's not like he'll abandon that for anything. I bet Chris makes it.

Art Crawl!!!

I hope Chris makes it - I'm not sure why Rami is so attached to draping and only draping but if his two best looks are both draped dresses - I don't think that's going to cut it.

I knew that Christian and Jillian would be in and I figured that Sweet P would be out. I never figured on the twist.

Punishingly Intricate

And I know he's a puffy sleeve making, skinny black pants lovin' fool, dammit, I love Christian! I thought his outfit was fierce and showed the strongest editorial vision. Princess worked it the hell on out. Two snaps up.

I love him too and I don't think he's probably as irritating as what we see of him on the show. At least it seems like the other designers ever really get very peeved at him.

Has he done anything that wasn't black or black & white? I can't remember...the prom dress challenge, I guess. Anything else?

I liked Sweet Pea and thought her dress was pretty but I knew she'd be gone. It was just too simple.

Both Chris and Rami needed to look at that last challenge with "they will expect me to do THIS, so let me wow them with THAT". If they had swapped designs, the judges would have been wowed.

Seriously. Chris, I can maybe see doing that but Rami is VERY committed to the draping. Beyond the fact that he's good at it.

I don't know. Every interaction you see is him being snotty, critical, or loving himself. It would take a lot of work to do just those kind of shots if they weren't frequent.

I think that they don't get peeved because they just dismiss him like you would a child. Like Chris said, "just give him a bottle and he'll go right to sleep"

My coworker pointed out that if you look at things Rami has made for celebrities, they aren't actually all togas. So I don't know what to make of that.

And Tim Gunn always laughs! That makes me think he's not so bad.

Maybe his clients make stipulations that he actually follows.

Yes - Tim isn't irritated by Christian so Christian is probably less irritating than he appears on screen.
