I'm glad that Chris won, but I really think it should have been Christian. That outfit was amazing. Yeah, he does the same shtick but he does it well and with many variantions and it is always (I think!) a complete outfit!
And I can't believe I'm sticking up for Christian!
I think it will be Sweet P's last day next week. I like her but she is really hit and miss.
Join us, quester. Christian is love.
they film the finale on Friday, don't they?
Indeed. And they're still so far away from the finale. They have one more elimination (at least - if they go with last season's model of 4 to the tents). Then they have to let Tim go to the designer's hometowns while they prep and then the big finale. I have no idea how they think they can keep the shows under wraps for 2-3 more weeks. Why did they take off last week again?
I think that they auf'd Ricky for his entire body of work (mostly pretty bad), saved Sweet P for the same reason, and awarded the win to Chris for both the quality of his outfit (which fit his diva excellently, both fitwise and personality) and due to the fact that it was more traditionally WWE-wear. Christian's outfit was very fierce, though, and I can see his diva begging them to let her wear it on the mat, too.
I believe the ads said they will be eliminating 2 people next week. I don't know how many will show on Friday...
Two?
Cool.
That leaves 4. TC-Chicago premieres on March 12th. The PR finale is the week before that - I thought. Five weeks and only two weeks of eliminations?
Two next week, one on the 13th, a reunion (perhaps) or a repeat on the 20th, Tim visiting the designers on the 28th (or the reunioni) and then the finale?
They're down to five now. If next week is two elims, that'll get them down to the final three for the final, so I'm guessing we'll have another week off somewhere in there before the reunion and the final.
First of all, why are all of their asses hanging out? I mean, if the outfits are going to ride up that far when they're just walking, I shudder to think what they will do when they're in the ring.
I loved Chris' outfit. More importantly, she totally loved it. I think that the added touch of lining the hoodie with the sequins was key.
I didn't hate Christian's outfit, I thought that it looked good on her, and she clearly enjoyed it.
As much as I hated Ricky's outfit, his girl worked it on the runway, have to give props for that.
I felt bad for Sweet P, she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I feel sure that if she'd done the tacky robe, they would have criticized her and questioned her taste.
Side note -- I met Traver (in the cowboy hat) last weekend. He's a friend of a friend. It's a good thing that I didn't know that he'd been on PR, I totally would have grilled him.
I just had non-fiction tv show confluence: Grant on Mythbusters imitating Tim Gunn while critiquing a collegue's covering up of a nude marble statue. "I question your use of this fabric for this challenge. Oh, well, make it work!" Ha!
OMG! Ricky's auf!

Victor is me. Plus, his hats annoyed me even more than Christian's hair.
