Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

First of all, why are all of their asses hanging out? I mean, if the outfits are going to ride up that far when they're just walking, I shudder to think what they will do when they're in the ring.

I loved Chris' outfit. More importantly, she totally loved it. I think that the added touch of lining the hoodie with the sequins was key.

I didn't hate Christian's outfit, I thought that it looked good on her, and she clearly enjoyed it.

As much as I hated Ricky's outfit, his girl worked it on the runway, have to give props for that.

I felt bad for Sweet P, she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I feel sure that if she'd done the tacky robe, they would have criticized her and questioned her taste.

Side note -- I met Traver (in the cowboy hat) last weekend. He's a friend of a friend. It's a good thing that I didn't know that he'd been on PR, I totally would have grilled him.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just had non-fiction tv show confluence: Grant on Mythbusters imitating Tim Gunn while critiquing a collegue's covering up of a nude marble statue. "I question your use of this fabric for this challenge. Oh, well, make it work!" Ha!

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

OMG! Ricky's auf!

Thank Sweet Jesus of All Things Gay and Fashion. Never before in the history of Project Runway has that much dull lasted that long.

Victor is me. Plus, his hats annoyed me even more than Christian's hair.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think the editors saved his ass. My operating theory is he broke down like a Giant winning the Superbowl and got himself together to do the confessional at the camera.

Did you see how badly red-rimmed his eyes were in his final comments? Honey lost his shit.

oh, yes. I think that they knew that we were tired of it. Even though it constantly got me points on fafarazzi

Because books.

Oh yes, the crying. God bless the editors if they spared us that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Everyone remember to Tivo Survivor tonight! I completely forgot it was starting up again so soon, but thankfully DH is on top of things.
