Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Just saw La-La Land, and the part that is relevant to this thread is that Mandy Moore was the choreographer. The ladies sitting behind me were exclaiming that they didn't know she did that, so I turned around and let them know it was a different Mandy Moore...
I just saw La-La Land tonight and exclaimed the same thing but there was nobody there to correct me.
Hah, I knew it was Mandy Moore from SYTYCD, but admit the first time I heard of her there, I wondered.
Oh yeah, same, definitely.
Her twitter handle is @nopenother which cracks me up
Hee/aw!
Aw, my DVR picked up an episode of Drag Race over night because Logo put on a Debbie Reynolds marathon!
Mandy Moore also choreographs on DwTS and at first, I was sure that it had to be yet another Mandy Moore, but nope, it was her! So cool.
And now I want Mandy Moore to choreograph something for Mandy Moore to a Mandy Moore song. Mandy-ception!

Dear Universe: please make this happen. Thanks, -t
So, I'm watching Project Runway: Junior, and the second challenge is Unconventional Materials with pool party stuff. Tim walks into the workroom for his critiques and makes a comment that it looks like a cross between Beach Blanket Bingo and Gilligan's Island and NONE OF THOSE KIDS GET THOSE REFERENCES. One of them comments that "I know Gilligan's Island is a book, but I don't know what that book is about" and another says "I Think it's from Dickens, something about pirates, maybe?".
That's not real, right? Someone told those kids to say that stuff.
