Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Hee/aw!
Aw, my DVR picked up an episode of Drag Race over night because Logo put on a Debbie Reynolds marathon!
Mandy Moore also choreographs on DwTS and at first, I was sure that it had to be yet another Mandy Moore, but nope, it was her! So cool.
And now I want Mandy Moore to choreograph something for Mandy Moore to a Mandy Moore song. Mandy-ception!

Dear Universe: please make this happen. Thanks, -t
So, I'm watching Project Runway: Junior, and the second challenge is Unconventional Materials with pool party stuff. Tim walks into the workroom for his critiques and makes a comment that it looks like a cross between Beach Blanket Bingo and Gilligan's Island and NONE OF THOSE KIDS GET THOSE REFERENCES. One of them comments that "I know Gilligan's Island is a book, but I don't know what that book is about" and another says "I Think it's from Dickens, something about pirates, maybe?".
That's not real, right? Someone told those kids to say that stuff.
I'll be watching JLo's new dance competition show on NBC. Could be great! Could be another Paula Abdul-Live to Dance style tragedy. But I really, really miss good dance on my TV, so I'm hoping for the former. Remember when we used to eagerly watch and post SYTYCD each week? I mean, that was mainly just me, but still. Good times. Good times.

Well for me it was eagerly watch and read Kat's post each week.
When does the JLo show start? I know, I should google.
No premiere date announced yet. I will report back later!
Oh, trust Kat, I remember anticipating SYTYCD! Sigh...
