Okay, I am just not enjoying ABDC as much without JC.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

SYTYCD - I did love the Hailee/Vernon robot dance. And I thought they were adorable staying in character all through the judges' comments, even to the walking off the stage. Also, on rewatch, I don't think Hailee actually stood on his arm - it looked like her weight was on his shoulder with a brief touchdown on the outstretched arm. Hip hop usually leaves me pretty meh, but this I looked.

HOWEVER ... the "African jazz" thing bothers me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Face Off: I find the new crop of contestants very appealing, but i'm not sure I loved any of the makeups. The runner up was probably my favorite. As the judges said, though, it was a very hard challenge. I kinda love the strategy of the producers/judges/whoever makes those choices in designing this first one.

Yeah, that was crazy. I can really see not thinking that "throw a blanket over them" was an appropriate way to deal with the second person, but that two-head sitting-on-shoulders one was No Bueno.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It was, but they were also the ones who had to throw out their entire concept after talking to Neville because they weren't making an organic creature. So they were kind of panicking. But that was pretty weak.

SYTYCD quote of the night, from Dillo: "Eventually, the shirt is coming off." (As the Asaf/Kate dance began.)

He was not wrong.
