OK, I am only now watching the Detroit auditions (I'm thinking I can fast forward through all the non-dancing parts and catch up pretty quick) but it strikes me as a little weird that a professional performing dancer is "Street"

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I also love seeing how people who have now been professional dancers for years are better than ever, although it makes the current contestants look shabby. (I think this is often true of the "All-Star" pairings, too.)
And I was so irked at Paula and her "dance like a man" comment. Boy was giving Broadway. It's not supposed to be manly with that music and choreo!! He had a smile on his face and was doing a lot better than the other dudes in his group!!
I just got to this and could not agree more. That was some bullshit, Paula.
Anyone have SYTYCD blog suggestions?
NFNS: I don't understand why Giada and Bobby kept fighting so hard for Dom all season. He should have gone home ages ago.
Totally. I'm glad they didn't keep him again over Eddie (who admittedly had a shitty week).
There's still a chance for Dom to have his miraculous improvement in Star Salvation and get back on the show -- unless Bob and Susie are interested in seeing a woman in the mix.
I keep forgetting to watch Star Salvation. I would hope one of the women can get back in though.
SYTYCD is on tonight, right? At 8? Assuming I'm not wrong, East Coast watch and post featuring the thoughts of Casper, now about to turn 12 and with 5 years of dance classes under her belt.
Ooh, excellent, Flea! Tell Casper I look forward to it. :) I'll be on a plane, so will have to watch tomorrow.
