I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Haven't seen last night's finale yet, but I have always found the All Star finales wanting compared to the regular ones. They have so little time and it's not fashion week - I think the regular season finale is still during fashion week although I can't confidently back that up. The last regular season finale had great runways, though - Sean and Kini and Amanda and whatshername from Detroit (who I liked but whose collection was just not in the same league)

Because books.

The All-Stars always have less time, although it's never been four days, I'm pretty sure. It seemed insane.

I didn't love any of the collections. Dmitry's stuff all looked really weirdly broad. The whole thing was disappointing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I started getting angry when they said something about having seen Sonjia's stuff before, since Dmitry did that same old cutout thing he loves! And I didn't get how the collection went together at all.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

YAY TOP CHEF! I liked both contestants, but I think the winner had been consistently stronger all season.

Glad it was a normal length show, the pacing was great, not a lot of fake suspense bullshit.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Top Chef: I'm just happy the season is over so I never have to hear the phrase, "I work for Michael Voltaggio" again.

I stopped watching Top Chef this season when the incredibly hot dyke was kicked off. Sadface.

Oh yeah, I was also happy about Top Chef, the episode itself and the results, although I could have been glad either way.

I'm glad to never see that Stephanie Cmar ad where she says "The bold combination of flavors are extremely delicate." Makes me crazy!!

Melissa was my favorite this season, and I really thought she was a lock to win through much of the season.

Hey, I agree with Alyssa - Helen's Fall looks were my favorites of all of them.

Kinda meh overall. I do like the idea of the 4 season challenge, I think, but 4 days is just not enough time for really wow finale runways. Not pleased with the winner, but I'm not outraged, I guess.

Yeah, if they are going to give them four days, I'd rather see two or three really excellent pieces, and eliminate the "poorly done" criticism, because what do they expect?
