They are WAY too douchey for my taste. The whole "TAR wife" thing is squicktastic.
Yeah, super gross.

I'm not quite sure how to put this into words, so please excuse any clunkiness.
I think the Afganimals are douchey too. But douchey in an all too "normal" way. Not because they are Afgahani. (Not inferring that anyone here said that). I was concerned at the start when they were pushing the Afgahani side so much, but they are just guys. Who can be jerks. Where they came from is immaterial.
I'm just using "Afganimals" because that's how they refer to themselves. They are total American brodudes who are I think are obnoxious.

Honestly, the self-nickname "Afghanimals" is part of the whole douchebag package, and it's not the prefix "Afghani-" that's the problem. Calling themselves the "Americanimals" would be equally douchey.

So completely this.
What Suzi said. It's not that they're awesome (though they had their moments I good and bad) but they aren't what I was worried they would be/be edited as.
Survivor: Whoa! HUGE move by Caleb. Who knew he had it in him?
I KNOW. He could do so much better than that tool he's dating.
Bryan Fuller on Face Off, cool! I love how delighted he looked while doing the close up inspections.
Some pretty cool designs this week, but nothing I'm totally in love with.
Roy got lucky again.
I agree on all points, -t. Bryan Fuller was clearly delighted with _everything_. It was awfully sweet.
Roy does good work, but his ambitions get the better of him.
Tate is my favorite, both for his vision and his temperament.
Miranda is super talented but, lordy, what a brat. The other cast members have been carrying her far too much, which I think they've finally cottoned on to in the most recent episode.
Laney has been squeaking by and, I predict, will be the next to go.
This is one of my guilty pleasures. I can't tear my eyes away from it.
