Stacy Kiebler is your cousin(ish), -t?
Darn, if she had been, I'd be two degrees of separation from George Clooney. Though I guess now I'm only three degrees. Not too bad.
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

It made me like Helen a lot more that what upset her was not being told her dress was awful, it was seeing it on the runway and knowing it was awful. I'm interested to see what she does next, if she pulls way back or what.
Timothy is so, like, school project. They do often send boring home before bad, though, they always have.
Also, I'm relieved Sandro didn't win. The bare midriff did not save that dress from the lace inserts on the sides. I don't know hw Zac Posen could say that.
Yeah, I liked Helen a lot more this week. Her badass, "I'm going rock this town" schtick got the smack in the face it deserved.
I'm watching Supermarket Superstar now and I'm liking it. It reminds me of business school much more than I would have guessed, which is oddly appealing. I gather it'll be a different type of product every week, so that should be interesting.
They could do with a whole lot less of the contestant's talking heads, but I almost always think that with competition shows.
That A&P is the chain that the winners will be in is making me nostalgic for Alpha Betas and K&B. I know that makes no sense, but there it is.
Also, I had no idea there was a real life Mrs. Fields.
Really?!
The weird thing is I grew up with A&P but I haven't seen one around here for years.
To be fair, I barely know there is a Mrs. Fields brand, but I generally assume branded personalities are fictional.
I am under the impressions that A&P covers a much smaller area than they used to - I know we had them in Baton Rouge when I was a kid, but I don't think they are there anymore. So I start off nostalgic for them, but then that Cake song about the Alpha Beta parking lot horns in and all nostalgic retail musings eventually end up with K&B, I guess.
Moving on to Top Chef Masters. I don't think I know any of these chefs by name.
I don't know about the sous chef thing. I guess it makes sense, but I won't be watching the online competition and I hope that won't be like not doing my homework for this show.
With you on the sous chef thing.
But, how many producers crapped their pants when David Burke ended up in the bottom three on the first ep? Meanwhile Baby Voltaggio gets a basket of carrots and raisins and pulls out a top three.
