That is one thing that Idol seems to have over the Voice. The Idol kids work after the show, even the ones that don't win. I have no idea what happened to S1 winner Javier or S2 winner Jermaine from The Voice and both of them could really sing, let alone anyone else from the show. I'd love to see The Voice get their own Kelly Clarkson, or heck, even their own Ruben would be better than what the winners have done thus far.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Seriously?!!?! Midas Whale?!?!? I want to marry them both at this point.
catching up.
TAR: My favorite team was eliminated because they did not get their asses into gear.
They were clearly struggling with the other task, too. But I didn't see any blame-throwing or excuses, and they were gracious on the mat.
I couldn't believe that Nashville Blonde #1 resorted to the "depending on the kindness of strangers" maneuver.
It seemed like they were really kind of stuck on that one though, if the police would not let them both leave. (I'm assuming there is a TAR rules reason that the other partner could not head in to town on her own.)
I did not understand the [losing team's] attitude. Not at the end - they were very gracious and sane about the whole thing. But after ditching the first task so quickly, then on the second task it didn't even really seem like they were paying much attention. Even on the second time through.
I was wondering why the newlyweds had pula when the blondes didn't, unless they just didn't show them having to get the money changed.
I liked Pam and Winnie but they did seem to be in leisurely mode yesterday. Still loving the hockey guys, too. They're so good-natured! And they're having so much fun!
Right, I'm also assuming that the other team thought to change money ahead of time but they didn't show/mention it.
There were a number of things that I thought would have merited a ten second explanation, actually. Like the role of the 2nd partner in the road block with the goats - at first I thought Pam and Winnie had already effed it up by having both of them in the boat. (And I think they did have them both catching goats, which some of the other teams did not.)
I wasn't clear on why Winona was steering the canoe instead of Matt, either. Unless she had to, for some reason?
I thought there was a mention, maybe last week, about how Matt had done 5 road blocks so Winona needed to be doing more.
Thanks. It was a little confusing because all of the tasks required both teammates.
(I'm assuming there is a TAR rules reason that the other partner could not head in to town on her own.)
I bet it's because they just have the one camera and sound team. And who knows where the more interesting thing would have happened in that case!
