The Voice starts tonight. Too soon, IMO, but I am curious to see what Shakira and Usher bring to the show.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Thanks, Lee! I had no idea.
There was an apology on TAR? I missed that.
Oh, my roommate and I were confused also, but when she googled she said it was the U-Turn (?) being at a downed fighter plane?
Huh. That at least makes more sense.

I actually really like them, but I was not a Christina fan. And Cee-Lo's outfits always seemed more entertaining than he did, to me.
Usher is sweet and very smooth, and Shakira is sort of adorable. And Adam and Blake seem to be welcoming them very enthusiastically.
Speaking of which, my crushes on Adam *and* Blake continue unabated.

That makes more sense than the song thing.
The Voice: Yay. Too soon and everything. That's all.
So far I like the new judges' team. Shakira impressed me more than I thought she would.
Thanks for the U-Turn link -- that explains that, and I'm glad they made things right. I suppose it's partly being in the Vietnamese-local context, where directions are like "turn right at the B-52 wreckage" because after all these years, it's part of their national landscape.
Fuck, I love the Voice blind auditions! It's so nice that everyone's good, even though everyone doesn't make it. And I like that they give specific feedback.
