Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]

Yeah, Roomie and I discussed why the firefighters didn't just turn around and dig for a few more hours. But I guess at that point they had already left the beach and taken the next clue for the canoe, and couldn't. It would be really hard to watch two teams go ahead of you and just hope you could dig another couple hours and still make it...if instead you could just go with them and hope/assume you could canoe faster!

Because books.

The penalty thing confused me. And it was such false advertising -- no one quit! Not permanently. I was peeved.

I already don't like the blonde with the shorter husband. The Barbie hair annoyed me, right or wrong.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I just thought they were so lame, all "oh, we don't make friends because we ARE JUST TOO AWESOME. But we'll fake it because we HAVE TO." Like, geez, you two are total assholes and proud of it. Annoying. I was hoping they'd be eliminated.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

For SYTYCD fans, Travis Wall choreographed drag queens on last night's RuPaul's Drag Race, and was a judge!

Also, side note - Honey Mahogany DID NOT KNOW WHO DIANA ROSS WAS. She should have lost on that alone!

And for the twist at the end, I literally hollered out "Oooh, SNAP!!"

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Like, geez, you two are total assholes and proud of it.

Yeah, they can go any time. "Put on her best girl face" my ASS.

I think according to the rules, once you've taken the penalty and received the clue, you can't go back and complete the challenge.

I was surprised we didn't see any of the teams taking a two-minute swim break, given the heat.

So far my favorites are the twin doctors because I have a thing for twins, and the derby moms because I always root for the mom teams.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And it was such false advertising -- no one quit! Not permanently. I was peeved.

Seriously.

Also, the twins are adorable. I like the roller derby moms, too.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Something about the twins has me concerned. They seem very hung up on the idea of things being "fair". I sense a breakdown when they get a bum cab driver or they miss a flight or something. The fuss over not finding a clue in the sand seems like the tip of the iceberg. At least to me. I'd love it if they prove me wrong.

Because books.

Stephen was sure they were going to be one of the teams to quit.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Weren't they the ones who came up with the ridiculous 1-2 deal as well?
