"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Amy,

that's the core of the debate. I think he is completely batshit. He makes some good sense about 15% of the time, but it is the other 85% where I'm like: wow, dude.

Is he really a former FBI agent?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm catching up on Project Runway, and I think one thing that being judged as teams is doing is making not fucking up more valuable than making something that could be in contention to win, because the team with the most fuck ups is going to be the losing team and no one on that team will win. That is, playing it safe seems like a better strategy than it might have been in previous seasons.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

you could be right about that. I'm pleased in general with the quality of designs - certainly in the most recent episode. I am irritated that they let the person go who they did. I liked him a lot and thought Patricia should have been the one to leave EASILY

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You'd think so but I'm not sure I'm seeing it play out that way in the designs as of yet.

No, I don't know that the designers are actually playing it safer, but I'm seeing it in the judging.

This last runway was definitely high quality, for whatever reason.

It's interesting the way everyone on the team was ready to send Amanda home when her dress actually came out fine. I kind of liked Patricia's look, but I can understand not. I didn't mind Joe's either, but I thought Posen's point that if he'd gone bigger it would have been better made sense.

Because books.

I was really impressed with a lot of the dresses in this challenge, although I think it could have more interesting to have a strictly hardware challenge.

I liked him a lot and thought Patricia should have been the one to leave EASILY

Patricia's seemed really avant garde to me, and really lovely, if not at all practical. I didn't think Joe's was too bad until he started calling it a coat out of nowhere. Dude, the zipper is in the back. Who designs a coat that way?

That was hilarious that he forgot about the zipper when he put it on the model. I don't know why he called it a coat.
