You'd think so but I'm not sure I'm seeing it play out that way in the designs as of yet.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
No, I don't know that the designers are actually playing it safer, but I'm seeing it in the judging.
This last runway was definitely high quality, for whatever reason.
It's interesting the way everyone on the team was ready to send Amanda home when her dress actually came out fine. I kind of liked Patricia's look, but I can understand not. I didn't mind Joe's either, but I thought Posen's point that if he'd gone bigger it would have been better made sense.
I was really impressed with a lot of the dresses in this challenge, although I think it could have more interesting to have a strictly hardware challenge.
I liked him a lot and thought Patricia should have been the one to leave EASILY
Patricia's seemed really avant garde to me, and really lovely, if not at all practical. I didn't think Joe's was too bad until he started calling it a coat out of nowhere. Dude, the zipper is in the back. Who designs a coat that way?
That was hilarious that he forgot about the zipper when he put it on the model. I don't know why he called it a coat.
Roller derby moms on Amazing Race!
I'm catching up on PRoject Runway why doesn't Portland Chick like Patricia?

She thinks Patricia is condescending and talks too much.
I want to go to Bora Bora.
That is all.
It looked GORGEOUS, wow. Even from up high.
I thought taking the penalty was brilliant -- what are the odds all the teams AREN'T all on the same flight (or, at most, split across two flights) out of Bora Bora??
