Amazing Race starts again tomorrow! I hate that they name each season separately in the listings.
I missed the first Survivor because of that.

Ooh, good to know!
I'm watching Survivor this season because of Philip.
Yes, I realize I am perverse. Why do you ask?
PHILIP OF THE PINK PANTIES?? Why, pray tell?
Because he is so off his shit. This entertains me for some reason. I am not rooting for him as a winner, mind you.
I didn't watch the first Philip season, so I'm just being introduced to him now. Is he completely batshit crazy or just a little eccentric?
Amy,
that's the core of the debate. I think he is completely batshit. He makes some good sense about 15% of the time, but it is the other 85% where I'm like: wow, dude.
Is he really a former FBI agent?
yes, I believe so.
I'm catching up on Project Runway, and I think one thing that being judged as teams is doing is making not fucking up more valuable than making something that could be in contention to win, because the team with the most fuck ups is going to be the losing team and no one on that team will win. That is, playing it safe seems like a better strategy than it might have been in previous seasons.
